A construction worker was killed Tuesday afternoon after a piece of construction equipment along I-45 landed on him, according to media partner ABC 13. The Dickinson Police Department said officers received a call just before 2 p.m. about a piece of construction equipment collapsed on a job site near FM 517 in Dickinson and a worker being injured, according to published reports.
The man identified by the family that the 46-year-old was pinned down by a truck used to carry materials.
A boom truck, which is a vehicle that uses a crane to transport large objects, crushed the construction worker, KHOU 11 reported.
