The CP2 LNG terminal located on an approximately 1,150 acre site in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The CP Express pipeline originates in Jasper and Newton County, Texas and feed natural gas to the proposed LNG facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
The project is expected to support approximately 3000 new jobs in Louisiana – 400 of which will be direct, permanent employees of CP2 – and pay more than US$4 billion in local property taxes during its operation. At peak construction, CP2 is expected to employ approximately 7500 direct construction jobs and support tens of thousands of indirect subcontractor, part-time and full-time jobs in over 30 states.
CP Express will build, own and operate a new 48-inch-diameter pipeline approximately 85.4 miles in length and a new 24-inch diameter lateral pipeline approximately 6.0 miles in length, connecting the CP2 LNG terminal to the existing natural gas pipeline grid in east Texas and southwest Louisiana.
